Maritime Cluster of the Canary Islands aims to design training programs that guarantee learning both in training centres and in companies, adapting future professionals to the needs of the maritime maritime labor market and its characteristics and specificities, allowing the professional qualification of workers, as well as the entrance of young and new professionals in this labor market in an efficient and effective way.

Objectives

From the Maritime Cluster of the Canary Islands it is detected that in the maritime-maritime-port sector, not really actions are carried out aimed at improving the professional qualification of workers based on the needs of the sector and the type of their work, as well as to qualify new professionals with insertion in this sector, and this lack has been maintained until today in certain specialties.
